Customer Care Manager


General Description:

Responsible for leading the customer service team (formerly called front end and service center) to meet or exceed the Brown & Cole Stores’ customer service standards for every customer encountered.  While focusing on customer service, provide leadership to ensure the service team is properly trained to consistently execute company policies and transaction standards.  Implement positive accountability for execution of service standards.


Qualifications:

·         Current Food Handler Card

·         2 years experience as a checker or 2 years retail cash handling experience, preferred.

·         Demonstrated passion for Customer Service with exceptional skills and training.

·         Sufficient mathematical proficiency and analytical business skills to perform required functions in areas such as budget development/mgmt, financial analysis, and written and verbal communication.

·         Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, & holidays.

·         Ability to work quickly and independently.

·         Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.

·         Consistent standing, stooping, bending, and lifting.

·         Constant arm, hand, & wrist motion.

·         Minimum age:     21

·         Maintain a current Workplace First Aid and Adult CPR Card.


Essential Functions:

·         Setting the personal example for customer service while “on stage”

·         Leading the customer service team to consistently achieve the B&C service standards.

·         Training new hires and retraining current team members.

·         Scheduling shifts to support customer service model and sales.

·         Ensuring cash control procedures are executed with no losses.

·         Developing reward and recognition program within first 30 days in position.

·         Ensuring staff communicates and implements all new promotions and systems.

·         Provide formal and informal feedback and evaluation to ensure team members are consistently achieving the B&C service standards.

·         Meeting budget targets.

·         Displaying behavior that shows accountability for entire store.

·         Ensuring all BASICS procedures are followed.

·         Complying with all state and federal laws/regulations and company policies including those regarding confidentiality, honesty and business ethics.
