| Maintenance/Custodial General Description: Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for StoreSupportCenter maintenance as assigned including sanitation and general office cleaning. It is the Maintenance Worker's role to ensure that the StoreSupportCenter and its departments are clean and in good order by performing assigned tasks in a timely, proper manner. Qualifications: · Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule, especially nights and weekends. · One year previous custodial experience preferred. · Ability to work independently, a self-motivated worker. · Able to continually stand, bend, stoop and reach. · Must be able to lift or otherwise move 50+ lbs. and perform some duties from approx. 6 feet above ground (via ladder or other apparatus). · Good work record/references, especially regarding honesty and dependability. · Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if needed. · Must be 18 years of age
Essential Functions:
· Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance in StoreSupportCenter areas such as kitchen, bathroom and office areas. · KeepsStoreSupportCenter clean, sanitary and in good appearance and repair. · May clean the kitchen, bathroom and office areas; may dust, mop and vacuum, empty garbage bins, perform light maintenance and repair duties, may also change light bulbs, move furniture or storage boxes. · Accomplishes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner. · General cleaning throughout the StoreSupportCenter and grounds. · Maintains friendly and respectful decorum at all times toward customers, co-workers, vendors, and all others. · Handles, in a positive manner, those inherent levels of stress associated with employment situations. Other Employment Responsibilities: · Complies with laws/regulations and company policies including those regarding confidentiality, honesty, and business ethics. · May perform minor repairs, construction tasks and preventative maintenance activities. · Maintains responsive and cooperative relationships with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, customers, and other personnel. · Accomplishes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner within standards established by supervisor. · Demonstrates the "Please the customer first" credo. · Other related duties as assigned.
