PIC (Person in Charge)

General Description:

The PIC (Person in Charge) is responsible for all aspects of the Grocery Dept. and the total store, and in the absence of other managers; is responsible for maintaining the smooth running of all departments and store operations.  The PIC will ensure that all store standards, company policies/procedures and government regulations/rules are maintained while in-charge.

Qualifications:

·        CURRENT HEALTH CARD

·        Must obtain valid Industrial First Aid Card.

·        Fluency in Spanish a plus.

·        Neat, clean businesslike appearance.

·        Must be grocery oriented and interested in growth within the company.

·        Minimum 2 years grocery retail experience in relation to customer service, checking, company policies and procedures and supervision of staff.

·        Experience in performing store closing procedures.

·        Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, or days.

·        Must be willing to relocate, if necessary.

·        Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if necessary.

·        Excellent customer relations experience and skills.
