| Night Crew Clerk General Description: The Night Crew Clerk provides stocking and maintenance of grocery areas under the direction of the Store Manager and Grocery Dept. Manager. He/she is responsible to work within the company standards for order and appearance of shelves and displays and within required production standards. Qualifications: · Current Food Handler Card. · Must be 18 years of age or older. · General retail knowledge or experience relating to receiving, stocking, facing, and display building. · Ability to meet store production standards for stocking. · Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and night shifts. · Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if needed. · Ability to work quickly and independently with limited supervision. · Ability to consistently stand, bend, stoop and lift 50+ lbs. · Good customer relations skills with outgoing, friendly personality. · Neat, clean business-like appearance. · Good work record/references, especially with respect to honesty and dependability. Essential Functions: · Greets customers using names whenever possible; assists with their needs or requests; extends thanks when service is complete. · Complies with production and quality standards. · Stocks shelves, frozen food cases, excess merchandise. · Maintains quality level by repairing, or pulling and recording damaged merchandise. · Keeps store sanitary and in good appearance by sweeping, cleaning and organizing merchandise. · Maintains friendly and respectful decorum at all times toward customers, co-workers, vendors, and all others. · Handles, in a positive manner, those inherent levels of stress associated with employment situations. Other Employment Responsibilities: · Complies with laws/regulations and company policies including those regarding confidentiality, honesty, and business ethics. · Maintains responsive and cooperative relationships with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, customers and other personnel. · Accomplishes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner within standards established by supervisor. · Participates in training and professional development. · Demonstrates the "Please the customer first" credo. · Other related duties as assigned.
