General Description: The P.O.S. Person is responsible for maintaining correct pricing in the computer for grocery, dairy, deli-grocery, deli-meat, HABA, general merchandise, and bakery departments under the guidance of the Store Manager; maintains shelf tags with correct prices; communicates with department managers on a regular basis to keep current on price changes. Essential Functions:
- Exceptional customer service skills

- 2 years grocery experience

- Communicate with corporate pricing support
- Maintains shelf tags with correct prices
- Processes green tags and price changes; runs "messages" reports and hangs tags
- Pulls expired green tags
- Processes and maintains exception report
- Maintains ad prices and records on markdown sheet
- Changes vendor prices, adds new items to file, replaces missing shelf tags or signs
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Reliable, energetic, flexible, and accurate
- Consistent standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications: - Current Food Handler Card
- Outgoing personality with a sincere desire to serve the public. Strong customer relations skills are required.
- Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if needed.
- Neat, professional and clean business-like appearance and conduct is required.
- Good work record and references.
- Minimum Age: 18
