General Description: 

The P.O.S. Person is responsible for maintaining correct pricing in the computer for grocery, dairy, deli-grocery, deli-meat, HABA, general merchandise, and bakery departments under the guidance of the Store Manager; maintains shelf tags with correct prices; communicates with department managers on a regular basis to keep current on price changes.

• Processes green tags and price changes; runs "messages" reports and hangs tags
• Pulls expired green tags
• Processes and maintains exception report
• Maintains ad prices and records on markdown sheet
• Changes vendor prices, adds new items to file, replaces missing shelf tags or signs
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work early morning shifts
• Reliable, energetic, flexible, and accurate
• Consistent standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Complies with all laws, regulations and company policies especially those related to confidentiality, honesty, and business ethics.
• Maintains responsive and cooperative relationships with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, customers, and other personnel.
• Accomplishes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner within standards established by supervisor.

Qualifications:  

• Current Food Handler Card
• Outgoing personality with a sincere desire to serve the public.  Strong customer relations skills are required.
• Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if needed.
• Neat, professional and clean business-like appearance and conduct is required.
• Good work record and references.
• Minimum Age: 18
