Under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Store Manager, the 3rd Person is responsible for good customer service and performing or delegating and supervising activities in the grocery department and the front end.  He/she is responsible for keeping his/her supervisor informed on all matters concerning these activities.  In the absence of the Assistant Manager and Store Manager he/she assumes additional responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Food Handler Card
• Must obtain valid Industrial First Aid Card.
• 2 years supervisory experience required, including directing work, scheduling, and training
• 2 years experience required (with full responsibility) in ordering, inventory control, and merchandising
• 3 years experience in front-end as a checker
• Experience in supervising front-end operations preferred
• Experience in performing store closing procedures
• Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, or days
• Must be willing to relocate, if necessary.
• Continual standing, bending, stooping, and lifting 50+ lbs.
• Ability to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if necessary
• Excellent customer relations experience and skills
